Custom Columns
Custom Columns allow you to create and additional column in Voluum reports with data that are the result of a mathematical operation between selected metrics or static values. There are four types of mathematical operations:
- Sum
 - Subtraction
 - Multiplication
 - Division

You can use up to 8 operations, along with parentheses, in one mathematical expression that defines a custom column value.
Use Cases
There are numerous use cases for using Custom Columns. You can find some examples below:
-
Profit after tax: You can create a custom column that contains your profit after taxation.
Setup: Multiply your profit by a correct static value.
 -
Custom conversion: If you track various types of conversions, you can create a column that contains the sum of two types of custom conversions.
Setup: Sum the two types of custom conversions.
 -
Cost with VAT: Calculate your costs with VAT included.
Setup: Multiply your costs by a correct static value, for example 1.19 for German VAT.
 -
Cost per custom conversion: Calculate cost separately for each conversion type (for example, lead).
Setup: Divide cost per custom conversion.
