Track Your Woocommerce Products with Voluum

The following things are required before setting up tracking:

• An active Voluum account
• An already set-up Wordpress page
• (Optionally) An additional landing page. Depending on your needs, you can direct your visitors straight to product pages or to your store's main page. In both cases you may wish to put an additional landing page in between.

Once you have everything, proceed with the guide.

The first thing you need to do is to set up your Woocommerce store. In order to do this, install the Woocommerce plugin and begin setup:

1. Provide basic store information.

2. Select a theme.

   

3. Add products and set up other options.

   

Congratulations, you have successfully set your Woocommerce store.

A. Create an offer element. Provide your store's product page as an offer URL. Read the Add an Offer to Voluum article to learn how to do that.

B. (Optionally) Create a lander element. Read the Add a Lander Element article to learn more.

C. Create a traffic source element. Read the Add a Traffic Source to Voluum.

D. Create a campaign. 

1. In the New campaign form, select the Private Workspace that you want this campaign to be assigned to from the Workspace drop-down menu.
2. Select the traffic source that you have just created from the Traffic source drop-down menu.
3. Provide a name for the campaign in the Campaign name text field.
4. (Optionally) Set a cost model.
5. (Optionally) Select a lander you have previously created from the Landers drop-down menu.
6. Select an offer that you have just created from the Offers drop-down menu.

7. Click the Save button.

   

8. Click the Copy button next to the campaign URL to copy it to the clipboard and paste it to any text editing tool.
9. Click the Done button.

For this to work, you need to install either a free or a Pro version of the Woocommerce Conversion Tracking plugin. Once you do so, follow the steps below:

1. In Voluum, go to the Settings.
2. Go to the Tracking URLs.

3. Click the Copy button next to the Conversion tracking script to copy it to the clipboard.

   

4. In Wordpress, go to the Woocommerce Conversion Tracking plugin settings.
5. Enable Custom conversion tracking.
6. Paste the Conversion tracking script in the Successful order text field.

7. Click the Save button.
