Export to CSV

Sometimes you may need to get your data in a universal format to analyze it in an external tool. This is where the Export to CSV feature comes into play. The CSV (comma-separated values) file format is an easily recognizable source of data for most spreadsheet editing software, such as Microsoft Excel.

With this feature, you can export data that you currently see in Voluum. If you look into campaigns' weekly global report, it will export this data. If you are currently in the context of a specific report for a given campaign, it will export data appropriate data.

Prior to export, you will have an option to select or deselect, which metrics you want your exported file to include.

In order to export your data, perform the following steps:

1. In Voluum, create a report that contains data you want to export. In our example, we create a specific report for the Facebook - Global - Health campaign.
2. Set the desired time range.

3. Click the Export button and select the Download CSV option from the drop-down menu.

   

4. Tick the boxes next to columns that you want to include in the exported file.

5. Click the Download the CSV button.

   

6. Save the CSV file on your hard drive.
